Veidekke's subsidiary Arcona has been commissioned by Costco Wholesale to build
Scandinavia's first Costco warehouse in Arninge, near Stockholm. The project is
an execution contract that comprises tenant adaptation of 14,000 square metres.
The work starts now and continues until October. The contract has a value of
approximately SEK 145 million.

Costco's first Swedish warehouse is already under construction by Arcona. The
new contract comprises tenant adaptation of the building, which is soon to be
completed and certified to the environmental standard Miljöbyggnad Silver. The
warehouse will include a bakery, meats department, optician, hearing center,
pharmacy and cafeteria. Opening is planned for late autumn 2022.

Costco Wholesale is the world's third largest retail store chain and operates
retail warehouses with a membership club which aims to offer members quality
brands at the lowest possible price. With hundreds of warehouses and offices
around the world, Costco offers a large product range focusing on sustainability
and environmental concerns.

time, and in which we work with open books with Costco and their project manager
Turner & Townsend. Early in the process, we engaged our strategic installation
contractors, and through the contract negotiations we have also had the
opportunity to secure deliveries of materials with a long delivery time," says
Niklas Virving, department manager at Arcona.

The contract is included in the order book for the current quarter.
