Oslo, Norway, 1 March 2024: Today, Omda AS ("Omda"), a leading provider of
specialised software for healthcare and emergency response, published its
results for the fourth quarter of 2023.
Omda continues its profitable growth and reported revenues of NOK 109 million
for Q4-23, a 11% increase over Q4-22. The company delivered MNOK 415 for the
year, 12% more than 2022.
Omda CEO Sverre Flatby emphasises the growth: "We exceed our organic growth
targets, beating the NOK 400 million target for the year. And most importantly,
78% of total 2023 revenue is recurring and stems from long-term contracts which
generate a diversified revenue stream with minimal customer churn."
The EBITDA margin was 19% for the quarter compared to -21% in Q4-22.
"Our margin-improvement program and decentralisation now show results. With 23%
EBITDA in 2H-23 compared to 8% in 1H-23 we expect EBITDA-margin improvement to
continue in 2024," Flatby concludes.
Highlights from the report:
o Q4-23 total income 109 MNOK vs 98 MNOK in Q4-22
o Full-year income 415 MNOK, a 12% increase over 2022
o Reported EBITDA was 20 MNOK resulting in a 19% EBITDA margin for Q4-23,
compared to -21% in Q4-22
o Recurring revenue 75% of total sales, same as in Q4-22
o Q4-23 organic growth of 10% in local currency vs Q4-22 (15% in NOK)
o Full-year organic growth of 9.5% in local currency (13% in NOK)
o Completed a new bond issue of 500 MNOK, with an additional tap issue of 500
MNOK
