Posting of Notice of AGM

Benchmark, the aquaculture health, nutrition and genetics business, announces
that further to the announcement made on 1 December 2022, its notice of the 2023
Annual General Meeting ("AGM") and related form of proxy have been posted to
shareholders today. A copy of the notice is attached to this announcement.

The AGM will be held on 16 February 2023 at 3.00p.m. (London time) at the
offices of Travers Smith LLP, 10 Snow Hill, London, EC1A 2AL.

A copy of the AGM notice and an accompanying form of proxy have also been sent
to those beneficial holders whose ordinary shares are registered in the name of
Euroclear Nominees as custodian for DNB Bank ASA ("DNB") and are held by DNB as
nominee in The Norwegian Central Securities Depository (Euronext Securities
Oslo) ("ESO shareholders"). Details of how ESO shareholders can ensure their
vote is cast at the AGM are set out in the AGM notice and the accompanying form
of proxy for ESO shareholders.

The Board is keen to encourage engagement with shareholders. In order to
facilitate this, if you are unable to attend but would like to ask the Board a
question on the business of the AGM, please submit your questions by email to
AGM@bmkholdings.com, so as to arrive by 3.00p.m. (London time) on 14 February
2023. Responses will be made via return email or published on our investors'
website at www.benchmarkplc.com/investors/, as deemed appropriate by the Board
of Directors.
