The Board of NHST Holding has appointed James Lamont as new CEO of NHST Holding with effect from May 1st, 2026. 
James Lamont is a British citizen and is currently a member of the group management in Financial Times with responsibility for Strategic Partnerships. With a 25 year career at Financial Times, he has extensive experience of journalism, editorial management and commercial management at one of the world`s leading business and finance publications. He held  the position as Managing Editor of Financial Times  from 2012 to 2020.
James Lamont has served in various Board roles in the NHST Group since 2017 as board member of DN Media Group Global, DN Media Group and, since 2024, as Board member of NHST Holding.  He will resign from the Board role in NHST Holding when the employment becomes effective on My 1st, 2026.
Lamont  will also be appointed as CEO of the media subsidiary DN Media Group.
Baard Haugen will continue as CEO of NHST Holding until May 1st 2026 and will also take on the role of CEO of DN Media Group in this period.  Amund Djuve, the current CEO of DN Media Group, will have an advisory role until he leaves the group on May 1st, 2026.
