Remedy commences an acquisition of the company’s own shares
The Board of Directors of Remedy Entertainment Plc has decided to commence an acquisition of the company’s own shares, based on the authorization granted be the Annual General Meeting held on April 10, 2025. The maximum number of shares to be repurchased by Remedy Entertainment Plc is 50,000 shares, corresponding to maximum 0.37% of the total number of shares.
The purpose of the repurchases is to acquire shares to optimize Remedy’s capital structure, to otherwise be reassigned, to be held by the company, or to be cancelled. The repurchases shall commence on November 3, 2025, at the earliest, and end by December 15, 2025, at the latest. Remedy has appointed a third-party broker as the manager for the repurchases. The broker will make trading decisions independently, without influence from Remedy.
The Annual General Meeting granted on April 10, 2025, the Board of Directors an authorisation to resolve on the repurchase of a total maximum of 700,000 treasury shares by using the company’s non-restricted equity. Treasury shares are repurchased otherwise than in proportion to the existing shareholdings of the company’s shareholders in public trading at the market price quoted at the time of purchase. Treasury shares are repurchased and paid pursuant to the rules of Euroclear Finland Oy and conducted in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR regulation, (EU) N:o 596/2014).
Remedy Entertainment Plc has a total of 13 640 451 shares and votes. Remedy Entertainment Plc does not currently hold any of its own shares.
