Netum has signed an agreement with the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency on expert services for the development of the railway information system
The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency selected Netum Ltd, a subsidiary of Netum Group Plc, as the project supplier in a tender for expert services for the development of the railway information system. Netum will be responsible for the application development of the RATTI system going forward.
The Railway Infrastructure Information Management System (RAIDE) is an entity consisting of several different systems that manages the life cycle of a railway site. Netum was selected to develop the RATTI system for the expert services of the railway information system. RATTI is an application that provides other RAIDE applications with shared services and functions for system management. The calculated value of the contract is approximately EUR 1.6 million.
The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency is responsible for the development and maintenance of the state-owned road network, the railways and the waterways. "We are delighted to be involved in the development of a system that is important for the functioning of the Finnish economy. RAIDE is a huge entity, and all areas must work seamlessly together to ensure high usability," says Altti Raali, CEO of Netum Ltd.
The RAIDE system has been developed since 2021. The development work of the management system will continue based on the new tender process from 1 September 2025 onwards. The contract lasts for approximately three years and includes a possible two-year option period.
The procurement decision for the tendering process was made on 26 June 2025. The tender procurement decision is final.
