GD-Transport operates as an intermediary and provides rental equipment and machines, drivers, and construction workers without owning the assets or employing the workers. The company operates from its headquarters in Stenungsund, Sweden, with activities from Ystad in the South to Gällivare in the North of Sweden.

Through the acquisition of GD-Transport, Såg & Betong's current offering will be strengthened with rental services of construction equipment and trucks. GD-Transport will continue to operate under its current brand and according to Urban Qvarfordt, CEO of Såg & Betong, there are clear revenue and cost synergies to be realized.
