PolarCool AB (publ) has signed a 2-year commercial agreement with the Swiss top club HC Davos. HC Davos has evaluated the PolarCap® System and will use the system with the support of a Swiss insurance company. PolarCool's agreement with HC Davos is a rental agreement over a two-year period.
HC Davos has used the PolarCap® System during an evaluation period with a positive outcome. Together with the clinical study results in the SHL study, this has been the basis for the club's decision to sign an agreement. A large reduction of long-term absence among players treated with the PolarCap® System after a concussion, means not only medical benefits for players but also positive health effects.
The agreement could pave the way for more collaborations with other clubs in Switzerland. There are a total of twelve teams in the Swiss league National League A (NLA).

-The agreement is a breakthrough in the Swiss market. The approach with HC Davos is interesting as it means that the parties see a medical and economic value in using the PolarCap® System for the treatment of concussions.
HC Davos doctor, Dr. Walter Kistler comments:
-We are very happy, that we have this therapy option to treat hockey players effectively, so they can return to the rink faster, and also protect them from possible long-term consequences.
The agreement with HC Davos is a result of PolarCool's marketing strategy for the Swiss market. The insurance arrangements are available in various forms internationally and are interesting for PolarCool to process. Reducing the number of days of absence for athletes is positive both for the athletes themselves and the club as well as for the insurance companies.
