The Med-Tech company PolarCool AB (publ.) announces a three-year partnership with English Premier League club Southampton FC. The club will integrate PolarCap® into its senior team's matchday and training protocols to support the management of concussion and optimize player welfare.

The club's medical and performance teams will utilize the treatment with PolarCap® on players suffering concussions, aiming to reduce the exercised induced elevated brain temperature, shown to mitigate the effects of concussions and improve recovery (link).

Elite Football is becoming an increasingly important target market for PolarCool. Head injuries and concussions pose a significant challenge within the sport, for both players and clubs as they cause physical suffering, absence, and substantial costs when they occur. As a result, PolarCool is experiencing growing interest from several top European clubs, as well as recently signing 1. FC Köln in German Football.
