The Nobina Group, with operations in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark, has committed to reducing its emissions from fuel consumption by 50 percent per passenger kilometer, Well-to-Wheel, by 2030 from a 2019 base year, and to reducing its emissions from Scope 1 and 2 by 50 percent in absolute terms during the same period. Targets that, according to the SBTi, are in line with the Paris Agreement.

"Every year, more than a million people travel sustainably in one of our buses and every day we make it possible for people to leave their cars at home. At the same time, the transport sector accounts for 30 percent of carbon dioxide emissions globally. A major challenge, but also an opportunity to be part of the solution, to be able to offer society fossil-free and, to a greater extent, emission-free transport where we travel together", says Henrik Dagnäs, CEO of Nobina.
