Mandatum Life Insurance Company and Pohjantähti Mutual Pension Insurance Company have on 17 June 2025 signed a collaboration agreement, through which Pohjantähti acts as Mandatum's partner in offering personal risk insurances to retail clients and small corporate clients.  

Mandatum provides personal risk insurances to cover critical illness, short-term and long-term disability and death. These products will become part of Pohjantähti's portfolio starting from September 2025, providing coverage to secure one's own finances and those of loved ones, or to ensure the continuity of a company in challenging health-related situations.

Pohjantähti is a Finnish non-life insurance company, founded in 1895 and owned by its customers. The company has 111,000 retail clients and 16,500 corporate clients. Its distribution network serves both these client groups and comprises 30 service locations and around 20 franchisees around Finland. 170 insurance agents operate through franchisees.
