Humana acquires assistance company RIK Assistans AB, which is based in Härnösand. The acquisition strengthens Humana's position in northern Sweden.
"I'm very pleased to announce this acquisition. RIK Assistans is a quality company that offers personalised assistance centred on the customer. The acquisition reflects our confidence in the personal assistance market and shows that we are following our strategy of taking an active role in the consolidation of the market," said Rasmus Nerman, President and CEO of Humana. "Together with RIK Assistans we strengthen our presence in northern Sweden, and we look forward to developing and expanding the business with our new colleagues going forward."
RIK Assistans is based in Härnösand. The company's annual revenue is approximately SEK 65 million and it has around 150 employees.
"RIK Assistans and Humana complement and strengthen each other, both geographically and operationally. My colleagues and I are looking forward to becoming part of Humana. We will continue to be involved in the further development and expansion of our joint operations," said Anne Wigren, CEO of RIK Assistans.
Humana has entered an agreement to acquire all the shares in RIK Assistans AB. The transfer will take place immediately with the business being included in Humana's Personal Assistance business area.
