The Board of Directors of Fondia Plc has appointed LL.M, M.Sc. (Econ.) Timo Lappi (born 1972) as the company's CEO as of 19 May 2025. Lappi has served as the interim CEO and member of the Group Management Team of Fondia since 22 January 2025.

Timo Lappi is one of the founders of Fondia and has served as the Chair of the Board since 20 March 2023, and before that as a board member 2021-2023 as well as 2012-2013 and 2006-2008. Additionally, Lappi served as the company's CEO 2009-2011 and as a lawyer 2006-2016.

Timo Lappi began his career in Finnish law firms, where he specialized in technology companies, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital. After his years at Fondia, Lappi founded the occupational health services company Heltti, where he served as CEO 2013-2023. He has also served as a legal, strategic, and business advisor to growth companies, business angels, and venture capitalists. In addition, he has extensive and long-standing experience in board work.

Due to his appointment, Timo Lappi will resign from Fondia's Board of Directors. The Board has appointed Vice-Chair Johan Hammarén as Chair of the Board effective 19 May 2025. Fondia's Board of Directors will continue with three members until the next general meeting. In addition to Johan Hammarén, the board includes Sami Honkonen and Katariina Lindholm.
