Lund, Sweden - Clinical Laserthermia Systems AB (publ) (CLS) Clinical Laserthermia Systems AB (publ) ("CLS" or "the Company") announces today that its US subsidiary has selected Quest International, a global aftermarket technical service provider to OEMs, to provide service and logistics operations for the US market. Under the agreement, Quest will provide end to end white glove service management including field services, depot repair, and warehousing and logistics support for CLS's soft tissue ablation system, the TRANBERG Thermal Therapy System.
The collaboration is an important part of the company's expansion strategy and means that the CLS organization can meet growing demand more efficiently.
In the US, over one million prostate biopsies are performed every year leading to a diagnosis of prostate cancer for almost 250,000 men. Focal laser ablation of prostate tumors has demonstrated high levels of precision and accuracy with low risk of side effects, such as erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence.
