Bonava Group: Bonava acquires half of construction-ready project comprising 260 new housing units as part of strengthened partnership with OBOS
Bonava is expanding its existing partnership with OBOS to jointly develop new housing projects in Nacka, Sweden. The next step of the partnership will include the Nacka Nouveau project, consisting of 260 new apartments. Development will be carried out through a joint venture. Sales of the apartments are expected to begin in the autumn, with completion of the first units scheduled for 2029.

Nacka Nouveau is part of the ongoing urban development of central Nacka, where new housing, services and workplaces are being built close to public transportation and a range of amenities. The apartments will be situated near the new underground station, which is scheduled to open in 2030.
"For our members, this type of partnership means we can offer the same number of apartments under our OBOS Deläga shared ownership model, enabling more people to enter the housing market," says Sofia Ljungdahl, CEO of OBOS Nya Hem.
The project is being developed in a close partnership between Bonava and OBOS through a 50/50 joint venture. The joint venture will be part of the same structure that has already been established for the Explora (Södra Änggården) and Johanneberg projects in Gothenburg. This partnership better facilitates the launch of new housing projects where there is a demand by spreading the risk among the parties involved.
Bonava is a leading operator in Nacka's urban development. The company has developed just over 260 single-family homes in the Ältadalen district, while in Tollare, Bonava was involved in developing an entirely new neighbourhood with more than 1,000 housing units, nearly half of which were constructed by Bonava.
