Bawat Water Technologies AB ("Bawat") is pleased to announce the receival of an order for a mobile Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) with order value of SEK 6-8m from a renowned US customer. The mobile BWMS is for a large sea-going barge, and once again confirms that heat treatment technology is superior to many customers when choosing a BWMS system.
The customer has chosen Bawat's filter-less BWMS technology specifically because of its proven ability to treat ballast water with just one pass and its chemical-free procedure. It enables a minimum volume of ballast water to be treated, full operational freedom in all water qualities and with the greatest care for the marine environment. The mobile BWMS solution is to be mounted in a 40 ft container with a capacity of 300 m[3]/hr.

The order value is between SEK 6-8m and will contribute to Bawat's full-year guidance of order intake of SEK 35-50m, which was released on August 23, 2022, as one of the larger single orders in 2022.
