The Beijing-based company has already conducted testing of the energy-efficient membranes at a municipal waste incineration plant and a coal chemical plant. During the testing phase, the Aquaporin Inside® CLEAR membranes have delivered stable water quality, meeting stringent desalination requirements.
The CLEAR elements have proven to operate at a lower pressure compared to the previous membranes in use. This improvement in performance means that the municipal waste incineration plant in Beijing has experienced an increase of more than 30% in compliant process water produced daily, directly alleviating the plant's high-water demand.
The Chief Executive Officer at Aquaporin, Matt Boczkowski, is excited about the new order in China.
