EgnsINVEST Ejd. Tyskland has now bought back its own shares for more than DKK 2 million under the current share buyback programme

Earlier this year, EgnsINVEST Ejd. Tyskland launched a share buyback programme of up to DKK 6 million, of which slightly more than one third has now been used.

The share buyback programme was launched on 30 March 2026 and runs until 30 December 2026, or until the desired number of shares has been acquired, should that happen sooner. The maximum number of shares that may be bought per day is 200, but no more than 25% of the average daily trading volume over the preceding 20 trading days.

Up to and including week 38, EgnsINVEST Ejd. Tyskland has bought 14,517 of its own shares for approximately DKK 2.1 million under the ongoing share buyback programme. This corresponds to about 0.63% of the shares, the purpose being to enable the company to reduce its share capital by the shares acquired. Following the annual general meeting in May, the company chose to cancel the shares purchased under the previous share buyback programme, and the number of shares was therefore reduced by 39,036 shares.

Share buybacks benefit investors, as they both increase demand for the share and raise earnings per share, since profit is distributed across fewer shares. At the same time there is a tax advantage, since no tax is payable, as would be the case if the money were paid out through dividends.

The ongoing share buyback programme has a ceiling of up to DKK 6 million, and from the end of March to the middle of September the company has used approximately one third of this framework. This implicitly means that the company will not be able to use the full DKK 6 million ceiling, as no more than 200 shares can be bought per day. There are thus not enough trading days left in 2026 to reach the DKK 6 million ceiling, unless the share were to rise considerably. This can be attributed to limited liquidity, where it has not been possible to buy 200 shares on every trading day.

EgnsINVEST Ejd. Tyskland publishes its shareholder magazine BERL!N three times a year, and the company's shareholders will soon receive the latest edition in their mailboxes. Other interested parties will soon be able to find the magazine on the company's website.
