Tamtron Group Plc | Press Release | May 11, 2023 at 12:00:00 EEST

Tamtron Group Oyj, a forerunner in the field of weighing technology, acquired Lahti Precision Oy in March this year. During the integration process, the operating models of the growing group have been clarified and it has also been decided to change the legal name of Lahti Precision Oy to Tamtron Precision Oy.

As part of the integration process, it has been decided to change the name of Lahti Precision Oy to Tamtron Precision Oy. At the same time, the operations of Tamtron Systems Oy will be combined to Tamtron Precision Oy. The commercial brand of the company will be Tamtron, as it is for all other Tamtron companies. The name change will not affect the operations of Tamtron's Lahti business unit, as Tamtron Precision will continue to develop, design and supply weighing and dosing systems for industrial use and related life cycle services. The activities and offerings of the Lahti unit will, however, be brought closer to the Tamtron Group through the name change.

The name change will be gradually rolled out during the current year.

The integration process is progressing faster than expected

According to CEO Mikko Keskinen, the integration process following the acquisition is progressing well:

- We have managed to build common operating models and operational structures in a short period of time. The new group executive team, the division of operations into clear business units and the name change of the Lahti unit are all logical and natural results of the integration process and will help us to further improve and develop our operations as an international group. At the same time, these changes will enable us to sell and market our entire range of solutions, which grew with the acquisition, under the Tamtron brand. We believe that these changes will also help our customers' daily lives, as we will be able to meet their needs with a wider range of products under one clear brand.
