Realfiction Holding AB (“Realfiction”) today provides a commercial update on its Directional Pixel Technology™ (DPT) activities, including the initiation of an early-stage technology collaboration in Taiwan, participation at CES 2026, and an upcoming investor presentation.

Early-stage technology collaboration in Taiwan
Realfiction has initiated an early-stage technology collaboration under a non-disclosure agreement with one of the largest display manufacturers in Taiwan. The collaboration focuses on the technical evaluation and alignment of Directional Pixel Technology™ for potential future display applications.

No commercial commitments have been entered into at this stage. The collaboration partner has expressed strong interest in the technology and is committing meaningful resources to the evaluation process.

“This company has long been one of our priority partners, and we are very excited to be working with them. It is still early days, and there are no guarantees of a successful outcome. However, if we succeed in our initial efforts together, the strategic fit appears very strong,” says Realfiction CEO Clas Dyrholm.

Participation at CES 2026
At the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, held in Las Vegas, USA, January 6–9, Realfiction is proud to present the world’s first glasses-free multi-user 3D display, delivering individualized 3D content to three simultaneous viewers, with the potential for five or more viewers in the future.

The demonstration illustrates the key advantage of Realfiction’s Directional Pixel Technology™ compared to existing glasses-free 3D display technologies: the ability to deliver different 3D and/or 2D content to multiple viewers at the same time, with no resolution loss and without the use of fixed optics.

In addition, Realfiction will present a second demonstrator showing a high-resolution glasses-free image on an off-the-shelf OLED monitor combined with a DPT Spatial Light Modulator. This “open-chassis” demonstrator highlights that DPT does not have a resolution limitation and that the underlying principle also works with OLED technology.

While the demonstrators shown are still at proof-of-concept level, they clearly demonstrate that the technology works and holds a key to overcoming a major limitation of known glasses-free 3D technologies: the interlinked relationship between multi-user functionality and resolution degradation.

CES provides an important platform for Realfiction to engage with existing and potential partners and customers across the display ecosystem.

Realfiction will exhibit at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Main Hall, Booth 22036.

Investor presentation
Following CES, Realfiction plans to invite interested investors to its Copenhagen office to experience the demonstrators first-hand. Further details will be communicated separately, and the presentation is expected to take place in the second half of January.
