Byhmgard appoints Peter Olsson as COO
Byhmgard AB (publ) has appointed Peter Olsson as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will join the company’s management team and start in his role on 6 October 2026. Peter will be responsible for Byhmgard’s commercial activities and lead negotiations and acquisitions of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) that own battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
As COO, Peter Olsson will play a central role in translating the company’s strategic direction into operational execution, commercial transactions and performance monitoring. A key part of his remit will be to lead negotiations and acquisitions of companies holding BESS projects, from initial discussions and due diligence through to signing and closing.
Peter Olsson brings extensive experience in commercial leadership, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate development. From 2023 to 2026, he was M&A Manager at SAYP Group, a Swedish B2B SaaS group. In this role, he led acquisition processes from initial discussions to completed transactions and contributed to several successful acquisitions. Prior to that, he was CEO of Quicksearch Sweden AB, where he led the company’s transition to a SaaS model and its subsequent sale to SAYP. He also has experience as an entrepreneur and has held senior commercial roles, including at Toshiba Tec Nordic.
