Aino Health has signed an agreement with Österåker Municipality in Sweden, covering approximately 2,000 employees. The municipality will implement Aino’s SaaS platform to enable proactivity, clear processes and responsibilities in work ability cases across the municipality. Go-live is scheduled for January 1st 2027.
Public employers have clear responsibilities related to work adaptation and rehabilitation, as well as requirements for systematic documentation and careful handling of sensitive personal data. A digital solution helps establish secure and traceable case management, supporting governance, legal certainty, and continuity over time.
“We are proud to welcome Österåker Municipality as a new customer,” says Jyrki Eklund, CEO of Aino Health. “In the public sector, it is essential to have reliable digital support that helps ensure consistent processes and secure documentation, while maintaining strong data protection and accountability.”
Through the collaboration, Österåker Municipality aims to:
• Strengthen structured and consistent rehabilitation documentation and follow-up
• Enable proactivity, clear processes and responsibilities in work ability cases across the organization
• Improve understanding of recurring drivers behind sickness absence through structured follow-up and aggregated insights, supporting more informed preventive work.
Over time, a more robust and proactive approach to work ability management can also contribute to lower sickness absence and more sustainable operations. The agreement represents an important step in Aino Health’s continued expansion in the Nordic public sector and reinforces Aino’s position as a trusted partner for organizations seeking digital support for work ability management and employee wellbeing.
