GHP continues to strengthen and broaden its position in Stockholm by acquiring the renowned dermatology clinic Hudkliniken at Sophiahemmet. After the acquisition of Hudcentrum Hagastaden earlier this year, GHP now continues its investments in dermatology in Stockholm.
Hudkliniken at Sophiahemmet is a high-quality clinic that has played an important role in Stockholm’s dermatology market for 25 years. A large number of patients are insurance company-funded and the clinic also has county council-funded patients as well. Former principal owners Lena Holm and Anders Tollesson will remain as co-owners and continue working in the business. The new CEO will be Johan Heilborn, who is also in charge of GHP Hudcentrum Hagastaden and GHP Hud Malmö.
“Hudkliniken at Sophiahemmet will be an important addition to GHP and our investments in dermatology in Stockholm. Our goal is always to be a leader in every speciality, both in terms of quality and size. We look forward to develop the clinic in close collaboration with the partners and employees”, says Max van Eijk, Business Area Manager for GHP in Stockholm.
The acquisition of Hudkliniken at Sophiahemmet is not expected to have a significant impact on GHP’s results for 2019.
